Our one-day Shamakhi and Lahic Tour from Baku begins with a pickup from your hotel. We then set off towards the picturesque Maraza settlement. Here, we will visit the Diri Baba Mausoleum, an architectural masterpiece carved directly into the rock face dating back to 1402. Next is the Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of Azerbaijan's oldest mosques, established in the 8th century. This revered site directly links the country's early Islamic history, demonstrating centuries of religious devotion and architectural evolution.
We continue our journey by visiting the Yeddi Gumbaz Mausoleum, also known as the Seven Domes. Built in the 17th and 18th centuries, this cemetery is the final resting place of the Shamakhi Khanate's royal family.
