Begin your Caucasus Travel Itinerary by arriving in Baku. Our driver will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the hotel. The day's adventure begins with Baku city tour. Visit Martyrs' Lane - the Eternal Flame Memorial, which provides panoramic views of Baku, ideal for photographs. Then you'll head to Icheri Sheher, the historic old city, where you'll see Shirvanshahs Palace, Maiden Tower, and Juma mosque. Other ancient treasures to be explored include the Double Gates, Bazar Square, and the Caravan Saray.
The afternoon will be spent at the Heydar Aliyev Center, followed by a stroll through Nizami Street and Fountain Square, where you will experience the heart of Baku's cultural life. The day will end with a walk to Baku Boulevard. By the end of your Baku City Tour, you'll be back at your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

The second day of your Caucasus Travel Itinerary includes exploring the legendary "Land of Fire". After leaving your hotel, you will first visit the Ateshgah Temple in Surakhani, which is a sacred site for fire worshippers and a remarkable historical monument from the 17th to 18th centuries.
Following that, you will visit the mysterious Yanardag, where natural gas fires have blazed on the hillside for ages. The adventure continues at the Gobustan National Reserve, home to ancient petroglyphs in the outdoor Petroglyph Museum. The final destination of the day is the Gobustan mud volcanoes, a natural wonder demonstrating Azerbaijan's unique geological features. After a day steeped in history and natural beauty, you'll return to Baku and be dropped off at your hotel.
In the morning, depart for Shamakhi. On the way, stop at Diri Baba Mausoleum in the Maraza settlement. The mausoleum carved into a rock was constructed in 1402. It is an impressive example of Shirvan architecture.
Then, pay a visit to Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the most ancient mosques in Azerbaijan, built in the VIII century.
Continue to the Yeddi Gumbaz mausoleum (Seven Domes) – a tomb of the Shamakhi Khanate royal family members built in the 17-18th centuries.
Drive to Lahich (Lahij), an ancient village founded in the third and fourth centuries B.C., that is located 1375 meters above sea level. Primarily known for its craftsmanship. Throughout the walking tour, you will come across many workshops where you can purchase handmade souvenirs, carpets, and other local products.
Continue driving to Sheki, an ancient historical town located 300 kilometres northwest of Baku in a mountainous area. Spend the night at the hotel.
In the morning, discover Sheki's rich heritage. Begin at Sheki Khan's Palace, a magnificent summer residence from the 18th century known for its exquisite wall paintings. Next, immerse yourself in local culture at the Sheki Karavansaray and the bustling Sheki Bazaar. The journey continues to the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, where you will cross and meet your Georgian guide. Here begins your individual tour in Georgia. The first region to explore is Kakheti. Delve into the cradle of winemaking. Stop at Khareba Winery, nestled in the roots of the Caucasus Mountains. Have a wine tour and tasting. The day continues with a visit to the historic Gremi Fortress, featuring a 15th-century church, tower palace, and a museum. Your Tbilisi City Tour starts at the magnificent Holy Trinity Cathedral. This architectural marvel, erected between 1993 and 2004, stands as Georgia's loftiest religious structure. Its shining golden dome can be seen from almost anywhere in Tbilisi. Proceed then to the historical heart of the city.
Visit Metekhi Church, perched on a precipice with a stunning view of the Mtkvari River and Old Town. The sacred site dates back to the 13th century and replaced a smaller sanctuary from the 5th and 6th centuries. Begin your Armenia travel itinerary by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Haghpat and Sanahin monasteries in the Lori region. These monastic complexes, built between the tenth and thirteenth centuries, represent the pinnacle of Armenian religious architecture. Travel through verdant fields and the charming town of Dilijan to Lake Sevan, also known as the 'Pearl of Armenia'. This expansive freshwater lake, located at an altitude of 1900 meters, is one of the largest in the world. Explore the Sevanavank monastery complex, which sits on a peninsula on Lake Sevan's northwestern shore and offers breathtaking panoramic views.
Finish the day with a drive to Yerevan for an overnight stay.
In the morning, drive to the next UNESCO World Heritage Site in Armenia, the Cathedral and Churches of Echmiatsin (Echmiadzin) and the Zvartnots Archaeological Site. Echmiadzin is recognised as the spiritual heart of the Armenian people. Constructed in the VI century, it became one of the first official Christian Churches in the world.
On the way back to Yerevan, visit the ruins of the VII-century Zvartnots temple, which was destroyed by an earthquake in the X century.
Begin your sightseeing tour of Yerevan with the Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex on Tsitsernakaberd Hill.
Continue to the city's main symbol, the Cascade monument. A massive limestone stairway that provides breathtaking views of Yerevan and Mount Ararat. Wander around Yerevan's pink streets and see the Swan Lake, Republic Square, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the Northern Avenue, and so on.

In the morning, start the tour to Garni Temple, Armenia's only remaining pagan temple from the first century AD. It was dedicated to Mitra, the Armenian Sun God. It is now symbolized as pre-Christian Armenia. See the Symphony of Stones - a stunning natural rock formation made of perfectly shaped basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic activity, that resembles a giant stone organ.
Drive to the Geghard monastery, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Armenia. The monastery complex is surrounded by towering cliffs and contains several churches and tombs, the majority of which are carved deep into the rock. It was the first monastery built in Armenia following the adoption of Christianity as the state religion in the early fourth century AD. Drop off at the hotel in Yerevan.
The day starts with a drive to the Khor Virap Monastery, which provides stunning views of vineyards and Mount Ararat. Khor Virap, which translates to 'deep dungeon', is steeped in legend as the location where St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for 13 years. Next, visit the Noravank Monastery, a 13th-century architectural masterpiece on a hill surrounded by the breathtaking brick-red cliffs.
Then, we explore the Areni Cave, an important archaeological site in Armenia with the oldest known shoe, winery, and straw skirt. We will sample the local wines at the nearby Areni winery. The day concludes with a scenic drive to Yerevan for an overnight stay in your hotel.
