After breakfast, head to the famous Lake Sevan, 'Pearl of Armenia,' nestled at 1900 meters above sea level and one of the world's most expansive freshwater lakes. Discover the Sevanavank Monastery Complex, perched on a peninsula with breathtaking views. Your journey continues to the charming Dilijan, passing through lush meadows. Reach the Haghartsin Monastery, hidden in the beautiful nature. With a serene blend of architecture and nature, the monastery dates back to the 10th to 13th centuries. Conclude the day with a scenic drive to Yerevan.

Your day begins with a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Geghard Monastery, an ancient spiritual haven surrounded by towering cliffs. The complex combines several churches and tombs carved into the rock and serves as a testament to Armenia's adoption of Christianity in the fourth century. Next, you will visit the Garni Temple, the only remaining pagan temple of Armenia, dedicated to Mitra, the Sun God, and representing the pre-Christian era of the country.

The journey continues to another UNESCO site, the Cathedral, and Churches of Echmiatsin, the beating heart of Armenian spirituality, founded in the sixth century as one of the world's first Christian churches. Before returning to Yerevan, stop by the ruins of the 7th-century Zvartnots Temple, which was sadly destroyed by an earthquake in the 10th century. Drop off at your hotel.

Today, your Armenian travel itinerary takes you to the Khor Virap Monastery, famous for its breathtaking views of Mount Ararat. The name of the site means deep dungeon, and is linked to the story of St. Gregory the Illuminator's 13-year imprisonment.

Travel through a narrow canyon to reach the Areni cave, an archaeological treasure trove containing ancient artifacts, including the world's oldest shoe, winery, and straw skirt. Next, take a wine tour and taste local Armenian wines at Areni Winery. Continue to the Tatev Monastery, once the center of Armenian spiritual and educational life. The 19th-century monastery sits atop the Vorotan River Canyon and is accessible via the world's longest cable car, which was inscribed in the Guinness Book of Records in 2010.
